That’s exactly what’s going to happen to the crew of Artemis II as they reach the farthest any human has gone.

As they pass behind the moon, they’ll enter a total blackout, losing all communication with Earth. But don’t worry, the crew will still be snapping photos, running tests and maybe even re-creating the iconic “Earthrise” shot.
