Driving Principals
He was driven to journalism by his desire to learn something new every day and share it with those who will listen. He hopes to use this to help people learn about the world they live in and ignite a similar curiosity about life. Through his skills in photography, storytelling, videography, and content creation, he brings stories to life, capturing the attention of people who desire to learn more.
Parker considers nature one of the most valuable things in the world, loves being outdoors, and frequently visits the Georgia State Botanical Garden to walk its trails. Driven by this love of nature, he joined the sustainability beat not only to cover sustainability initiatives in the Athens community but also to use his stories to raise awareness of the many important and ongoing sustainability issues across the south.
